PipFarm $5,000 Challenge — Position Size Calculator
Quick Answer
PipFarm's $5,000 account has a $100 daily loss limit (2% of balance). Risking 1% means $50 per trade, while 2% means the full $100 daily allowance. For EURUSD with a 30-pip stop, 1% risk equals 1.67 mini lots ($50 ÷ $30 = 1.67).

Risk Guide
With PipFarm's $100 daily loss limit, you can take exactly two losing trades at 1% risk ($50 each) before hitting your limit. At 2% risk, just one losing trade ($100) maxes out your daily allowance. This is the critical math that separates surviving traders from blown accounts.
The danger scenario: you take a 2% risk trade, lose $100, and you're done for the day. Or worse, you take two 1% trades, lose both ($100 total), then revenge trade and breach the limit. The $300 max drawdown means you can have three maximum daily losses before failing the challenge entirely.
For position sizing on major pairs: EURUSD at 30 pips means $30 risk per mini lot, so 1% risk ($50) = 1.67 mini lots. GBPUSD moves roughly $32 per mini lot at 30 pips, so 1% = 1.56 mini lots. For indices, NAS100 at 20 points costs about $20 per 0.1 lot, meaning 1% risk = 0.25 lots. Gold (XAUUSD) at $10 per pip for 0.1 lots with 5-pip stop = $50, exactly your 1% allocation.
Since PipFarm runs a single-phase challenge with no profit target, your only job is surviving without hitting the daily loss or max drawdown limits. There's no pressure to hit monthly targets, but the consistency rule means your best day can't exceed 25% of total profits in Consistency Mode. This prevents lottery-ticket trading where you make $400 one day and $20 the other nine days.
The challenge-to-funded transition doesn't change position sizing limits, but funded accounts often have different withdrawal rules. Your $100 daily loss limit remains constant whether you're in challenge mode or managing live capital. Risk management stays identical throughout.
