Common Mistakes

Using Semi-Automated Tools
Traders assume tools that require manual confirmation are allowed, but SFX Funded's policy covers all automated elements. Even trade copiers, one-click order tools, or automated position management systems can trigger violations. Any software that executes trades without manual input for each order violates this policy.
Weekend Algorithm Running
Some traders leave EAs running over weekends thinking markets are closed, but SFX Funded monitors account activity continuously. Automated systems can still generate signals or execute trades during gap opens or when exotic pairs trade. This creates clear evidence of bot usage that results in immediate disqualification.
Third-Party Signal Automation
Traders connect Telegram bots or signal services that automatically execute trades thinking these don't count as personal EAs. SFX Funded considers any automated execution system a violation regardless of the signal source. Manual execution of each signal is required to comply with their strict no-automation policy.
Custom Indicator Automation
Advanced traders create custom indicators with built-in trade execution believing this bypasses EA detection. SFX Funded's monitoring systems identify any automated order placement regardless of whether it's packaged as an EA or embedded in indicators. All trade entries must involve manual clicking and confirmation to avoid violations.

Protection Strategies

Manual Trade Execution Only
Execute every single trade manually by clicking buy/sell buttons and confirming each order individually. Disable all automated features in your trading platform including trailing stops, automated close orders, and one-click trading tools. This ensures complete compliance with SFX Funded's strict manual trading requirement.
Platform Settings Verification
Configure your trading platform to disable all automation features before connecting to SFX Funded accounts. Remove or uninstall all EAs, trading robots, and automated scripts from your platform entirely. Regularly check that no background automation tools are running that could trigger violations.
Manual Signal Following System
If using trading signals, create a manual process where you physically review each signal and manually place trades. Set up alerts for signal notifications but require yourself to manually analyze and execute each trade recommendation. Document your manual decision-making process for each trade entry and exit.
Regular Activity Monitoring
Review your trading history weekly to ensure all trades show manual execution timestamps and decision points. Check that trade timing aligns with your actual screen time and manual analysis periods. Any patterns suggesting automated execution should be immediately investigated and corrected before SFX Funded detects violations.
