4-Week Strategy Framework

Week 1Foundation Building
Objective
Establish rhythm and capture 3-4% profit while building confidence. Focus on consistency over size. Remember, you need minimum 4 trading days, so pace yourself.
Position Sizing
Risk maximum 1% per trade. With the 3% daily loss limit, this gives you 3 attempts per day if needed. Never risk more than 2% total exposure at once to stay well within the 6% total drawdown limit.
Mindset
You're laying groundwork, not chasing the 10% target yet. Every profitable day builds momentum. The consistency rule means your best day can only be 4-4.5% max, so think steady accumulation, not home runs.
If Ahead
If you hit 3-4% by week's end, reduce risk slightly. You're ahead of schedule. Protect what you've built and maintain the same methodical approach.
If Behind
Stay calm if you're only at 1-2%. Week 1 is reconnaissance. Don't increase position sizes - instead, focus on trade quality and market timing. You have unlimited time.
Week 2Momentum Building
Objective
Target 6-7% cumulative profit. You should be halfway to the 10% goal while respecting the consistency rule. Start identifying your strongest setups.
Position Sizing
Stick with 1-1.2% risk per trade, but be more selective. Quality over quantity. If you're at 4% profit from week 1, your best single day can only add 1.6-1.8% more due to the 40-45% best day rule.
Mindset
This is where many traders get impatient. Trust the process. The consistency rule is your friend - it prevents you from blowing up trying to hit 10% in one lucky day. Steady wins.
If Ahead
If you're at 7%+, you're in great shape. Reduce risk to 0.8% per trade. You only need 3% more, spread across potentially many days. Don't get careless now.
If Behind
If still under 4%, don't panic. Review your trade journal. Are you being too conservative? Consider 1.3% per trade, but never compromise on setup quality. Time is on your side.
Week 3Strategic Push
Objective
Reach 8-9% total profit. You're in striking distance of Phase 1 completion. Every trade matters now, but patience remains key.
Position Sizing
If you're at 6-7%, you can afford 1.2-1.5% per trade, but watch the consistency rule closely. Track your best trading day's percentage of total profits daily.
Mindset
This is crunch time psychology. You can smell the finish line, but overconfidence kills challenges. Stick to proven setups. The market will give you the remaining 2-3% when you're patient.
If Ahead
If you hit 9%+, switch to capital preservation mode. Risk only 0.5-0.8% per trade. You need just 1% more - don't snatch defeat from victory's jaws.
If Behind
If under 6%, you need focus, not panic. Increase to 1.5% risk per trade maximum, but only on your absolute best setups. Quality still beats quantity.
Week 4Phase 1 Completion
Objective
Secure the final 1-2% to hit 10% target while managing the consistency rule. Cross the finish line cleanly.
Position Sizing
If close to target, risk only what you need. If you need 1.5%, don't risk 2% per trade. Calculate backwards from your consistency rule limit - if your best day is already at 35% of profits, you have limited room for one big day.
Mindset
Marathon mentality, not sprint. You've come too far to rush now. The 10% target will come through patience, not force. Some of the best challenge passes happen quietly, not dramatically.
If Ahead
If you hit 10%, congratulations! But remember Phase 2 needs 5% more with the same rules. Start thinking about Phase 2 psychology immediately.
If Behind
If you need 3%+ still, stay calm. You have unlimited time. Don't increase risk beyond 1.5% per trade. Let the market come to you. Forced trades break challenges.
