4-Week Strategy Framework

Week 1Foundation Building
Objective
Establish consistent execution and build initial momentum towards the 8% Phase 1 target. Aim for 2-3% profit while staying well within the 5% daily loss limit. Complete the 5 minimum trading days requirement.
Position Sizing
Risk maximum 1.5% per trade to stay comfortably under the 5% daily loss rule. With FundedNext's 10% total drawdown limit, you have room to breathe, but discipline here sets the tone for success.
Mindset
This is about proving you can execute your edge consistently, not about hitting home runs. The unlimited time limit is your friend - there's no rush. Focus on process over profit.
If Ahead
If you hit 2-3% by week's end, reduce risk to 1% per trade. You're ahead of schedule for the 8% target, so protect what you've built and maintain momentum.
If Behind
If flat or slightly red, don't panic. Review your execution, not your strategy. The 10% total loss limit gives you plenty of cushion. Stay at 1.5% risk per trade and focus on quality setups.
Week 2Momentum Building
Objective
Target 4-5% cumulative profit, putting you past halfway to the 8% Phase 1 goal. Continue respecting the 5% daily loss limit while building confidence in your system.
Position Sizing
If profitable from Week 1, maintain 1% risk per trade. If catching up, stick with 1.5% but be extra selective. Remember, one bad day can't exceed 5% loss, so position sizing is critical.
Mindset
You're building a track record that prop firms want to see. Consistency trumps big wins. The no consistency rule means you don't need perfect daily results, just steady progress toward 8%.
If Ahead
If at 4-5% profit, you're in cruise control. Drop to 0.5-0.75% risk per trade. The finish line is visible, don't fumble it with overconfidence.
If Behind
If under 2% profit, you still have weeks to reach 8%. Don't increase risk beyond 1.5% per trade. The unlimited time limit means patience is rewarded, desperation is punished.
Week 3Target Approach
Objective
Reach 6-7% profit, positioning yourself for Phase 1 completion. Focus on capital preservation while steadily approaching the 8% target without rushing.
Position Sizing
If near target, reduce risk to 0.5% per trade maximum. You're playing not to lose at this point. If behind, maximum 1.5% risk but only on your highest probability setups.
Mindset
This is where many traders self-sabotage. The 8% target is close, but overtrading or oversizing here kills challenges. Trust the process that got you this far.
If Ahead
If at 6-7%, you're almost there. Risk only 0.25-0.5% per trade. Better to take an extra week to pass safely than blow it with one aggressive trade.
If Behind
If under 4%, don't panic. You still have a week plus unlimited time. Stick to 1.5% max risk and focus on execution. The 10% total loss limit means you're nowhere near danger.
Week 4Challenge Completion
Objective
Secure the 8% Phase 1 target through careful, methodical trading. Once achieved, immediately shift focus to Phase 2's 5% target with adjusted risk parameters.
Position Sizing
If close to 8%, risk maximum 0.25% per trade until target hit. Once in Phase 2, recalibrate to 1% risk per trade for the 5% target, respecting the same 5% daily and 10% total loss limits.
Mindset
Finish strong but smart. Once you hit 8% and enter Phase 2, you're starting fresh with a 5% target. Don't carry Phase 1 emotions into Phase 2 - it's a new challenge with the same disciplined approach.
If Ahead
If you've hit 8% and moved to Phase 2, congratulations! Now target 1-2% in Phase 2 this week using 1% risk per trade. The 5% target is more achievable than the 8% you just conquered.
If Behind
If still chasing 8%, don't force it. Use 1% max risk per trade and wait for A+ setups only. The unlimited time limit means you can take as long as needed. Patience wins challenges, not heroics.
