4-Week Strategy Framework

Week 1Foundation Building
Objective
Establish consistent execution and build confidence. Target 2-3% profit while never risking more than 1% per trade. Focus on quality setups and risk management over speed.
Position Sizing
Risk maximum 1% per trade to stay well within the 5% daily loss limit. With no consistency rule, you can afford to be patient and selective with entries.
Mindset
This is a marathon, not a sprint. AquaFunded gives you unlimited time, so use it. Every trade is practice for when you're managing real capital. Focus on process over profit.
If Ahead
Banking early profits is psychological gold. If you hit 2-3% by week's end, maintain the same approach. Don't increase risk just because you're winning.
If Behind
Stay calm. With unlimited time and no minimum trading days, being slightly behind is irrelevant. Stick to 1% risk per trade and focus on finding your rhythm.
Week 2Momentum Building
Objective
Target 4-6% cumulative profit. Start recognizing your peak performance hours and market conditions. Build on week 1's foundation while maintaining strict risk controls.
Position Sizing
Continue with 1% risk per trade maximum. If you're above 4% profit, consider reducing to 0.75% risk to protect gains while still progressing toward the 10% target.
Mindset
You're building trading capital, not gambling. Every successful trade brings you closer to a funded account. Trust your preparation and stick to planned entries and exits.
If Ahead
If you're at 5-7%, you're in excellent position. Consider slightly more conservative sizing (0.75% risk) to protect progress while still advancing toward the 10% Phase 1 target.
If Behind
If under 3% total, resist the urge to force trades. The unlimited time limit is your friend. Review your best setups from week 1 and focus on replicating those conditions.
Week 3Target Approach
Objective
Reach 7-8% cumulative profit. Begin planning your final push to 10% while being extra cautious about the 10% maximum total loss rule. Quality over quantity becomes crucial.
Position Sizing
If above 6% profit, reduce risk to 0.5-0.75% per trade. You're protecting significant progress now. The closer you get to 10%, the more conservative your sizing should become.
Mindset
You're in the driver's seat now. The finish line is visible but not guaranteed. Stay disciplined. Many traders fail in this zone by getting overconfident or impatient.
If Ahead
If you're at 8-9%, switch to preservation mode. Risk only 0.5% per trade. You're one good week away from Phase 2. Don't sabotage months of work for a few extra percentage points.
If Behind
If below 5%, you still have plenty of time and room. Don't panic-trade. Stick to your proven setups from earlier weeks. The unlimited time limit means you can wait for perfect conditions.
Week 4Challenge Completion
Objective
Secure the final 1-3% needed to reach 10% target. Execute only the highest probability setups. Preservation of capital is now more important than profit generation.
Position Sizing
Ultra-conservative sizing: 0.25-0.5% risk per trade maximum. You're protecting weeks of work. Better to take longer and succeed than rush and fail near the finish line.
Mindset
You're a professional trader now, acting like one. Every decision should prioritize passing this challenge over maximizing profit. Phase 2 is your real goal, not squeezing extra profits from Phase 1.
If Ahead
If you hit 10%, immediately stop trading Phase 1. Don't risk the 5% daily loss or 10% total loss limits by overtrading. Celebrate and prepare mentally for Phase 2's 5% target.
If Behind
Stay calm and selective. If you need 2-3% more, that's easily achievable with patient execution. Don't abandon the risk management that got you this far. Trust your process.
